A credit information agency is an agency that collects and holds credit information of individuals as data.
All financial institutions, loan companies, credit cards, credit sales companies, and consumer finance are members of credit information agencies, and when creating a new credit card, taking out a loan, borrowing money, etc. In such cases, we check the individual's credit information registered with a credit information agency to determine whether the person is financially reliable.
There are three designated credit information agencies licensed by the government. There are three: CIC, JICC, and National Bank Personal Credit Information Center.
